The first three months were pretty cruddy and uneventful but things got a lot better in April, May, and June!
April:
In the beginning of the month, we celebrated Isaac’s 3rd birthday by having a whole ton of family come. We had the party, Ash and his brother ran a race, and it was great fun!
Elliot was playing tee ball and I rediscovered hair metal.
We made our first of many sojourns to St. George Island.
Got sunburned the next time we went to the beach, got a new gate, saw my parents again, and concluded the month.
May:
I was feeling the overwhelming pressure of being a parents.
My obsession with Sonic cherry limeades continued and I had a minor breakdown about pink baby clothes.
Had a typical crappy Tuesday but I turned 28 weeks ! (This one for the Jake Gyllenhall gif 🙂 )
I made a May bucket list. Looking back, I finished 6/9. Not too shabby.
Hit up garage sales, went to the beach with friends, and the end of school.
June:
Isaac got sick and I ruminated on various things.
Lost one of my side jobs and felt entirely too stressed.
We took an excellent vacation! And we went to Disney World!
And now, the photos:
I’ll have to go check out that hair metal post, I’m not quite sure what that is ha ha. That’s fun you got to go to the beach a couple times this summer! I’m sad to say that we didn’t go this year 😦 How exciting that you went to Disneyland too!!
Yay for the beach!! I love going to the beach!
Love the beach picture! I had to check out the hair metal post, too funny. Funny what we dream. I have never been to Disney World- been to Disney land though 🙂 Thanks so much for recapping.
Birthdays and Disney World, it sounds like April – June were not so bad.
I have tried to be a Sonic limeade fan but just haven’t had enough of them to feel the real pull— although, Starbucks has suckered me in– agh! Great recap!! So sad to see our kids growing up so fast!
What a fun few months!
