Yearly Recap – First three months

I really love these recaps because it puts things into perspective. It’s really nice to go back and look at all your accomplishments and even maybe your failures. I’ll link to some major posts and add some photos from the months featured. So without further ado, here are the first three months of 2013.

I got the flu very badly and I was only about two months pregnant, so that was crappy. I couldn’t breathe through my nose at all and slept like crap. The beginning of my year was not so good!

I ruminated on making a baby and all that encompasses.

I took over the We Want to Know meme from Mamarazzi and co-hosted it with Kenzie.

I talked about how pregnancy sickness was getting me down.

Ash got rid of the arcade machine; thank God!

I made some funny Valentine’s Day cards.

The month ended with more pregnancy woes.

We found out that the baby was a girl!

I got comfortable with the idea of having a daughter.

I had to solo parent for four days and it was hard.

And some photos: Elliot’s first season of soccer, 100 days of school, Baby Girl, and Easter

  1. You got the flu in January too? My whole family came down with the stomach flu the first week of January and it was just awful. Ugh.
You guys had an arcade machine? That’s pretty cool 😀
    Cute pictures!

  2. Ugh the flu is the worst, let alone while pregnant that would so not be fun. I didn’t know when the transition with the WWTK happened. Glad you and Kenzie took it over as it has saved me so many Wednesdays when I can’t think what to blog about.
Thanks so much for linking up!

  3. Ewww… no fun being sick while pregnant. I hear it sucks… I’m just waiting for when I have to experience it myself. oy! Love the ultrasound photos!

  4. I hear the flu really sucks…. I guess its been so long since I had it that I can’t even remember. I am horrible too b/c I refuse to get the shot. I get the kids the flu shot and so far so good… Pregnancy sickness is no fun… but worth it in the end.
