I vowed to stick close to home this weekend and we succeeded. Friday, Ash and I had our first date day in forever. We went to El Jalisco and both drank. Then we walked to the movie theater (about 2 blocks away) and saw Escape Plan, which was pretty awesome. It was a great afternoon. Got back to the car and had to immediately get the kids. Elliot’s friend (and my boss’s grandson) Lucas was slated to come home with us so we also acquired him. They played really well together but by the time I was taking him home, I was done. The boy tends to be a little obnoxious. I.E. I thought MY kids were out of control… sheesh.
On Saturday, Elliot had his last flag foot ball game, which they won, and we went to the store. made lunch, took naps, watched Breaking Bad episodes. Watched FSU trounce UM that night, as expected. Go Noles!
On Sunday, since we “fell back”, I got the kids to church while Ash ran and then I focused on cleaning the house. It definitely felt like the longest day ever, but we’re adjusting. It may actually benefit me in the long run as I can maybe get the Girl in bed by 8:30 instead of 9:30. I love adjusting babies! Not.
I am conferencing with students today and catching up. But I found time to do Music Monday!

Good songs, and sounds like a pretty good weekend. I hate time changes, but in the grand scheme of things, this time change is easier to adjust to than the spring one.
