I usually feel like weekends are just the right amount of time but this one went by way too quickly. Ash and I went out to lunch Friday then had a beer at a local brewery before taking a nice nap. That evening, Elliot had his last soccer practice/end of season party. It was nice and I was relieved to be ending it – simply because we have so much going on.
Saturday was similar: Koda had her last game and celebration and the boys both had noon games – where they each scored goals – then finished everything up. I don’t know how I can feel so exhausted just driving kids to and watching soccer. LOL. We ate after then I did little else.
Sunday was more chillin’ – running, cleaning, laundry, hanging out. It was relaxing but it was simply putting off other work and thought. I have a million and one things to do, namely make a list of all the things we have to do in regards to moving. But I had to have one more weekend to just be… normal.

I love a freebie week! I am sure I have shared W.A.S.P. before but until recently, I never listened to much after, say, Headless Children. But they have some wonderful albums, some as recently as 2015. Here’s a song off Dominator that was so damn good the album includes a reprise.
Pretty sure that isn’t the actual video but it’s pretty damn powerful.
And here’s one from 1989. It’s a pretty damn good ballad.

Love soccer personally and these kids they certainly know what they’re doing don’t they? My two grandsons (brothers), both play soccer and they absolutely love it as much as baseball… maybe even more!!! I know I loves watchin’!!!! WOO HOO!!!
Some weekends seem to end before they seem to start
I’ve not heard of W.A.S.P – husband has but had never heard any of those songs – the song was good, the video was great (whether or not it was the official video).
We had a long weekend together. It was especially nice because the holiday weekend occurred on DH’s off Friday but unfortunately, I was under the weather so we couldn’t take full advantage of it like we wanted. W.A.S.P is too heavy metal for me but they have a good sound and I liked the first song the best of the two. Thanks for sharing your song selections with the 4M gang. Have a good week!
