Well, we just got back from breakfast at our local eatery (Jenny’s) and now the kids are playing semi-quietly, Ash is taking a bath, and I am, well, appreciating the day off. Though, I honestly never mind Mondays.
Anyway, we had a pretty good weekend. The kids slept in a bit Saturday and we ran a few errands before going to lunch. It was cold in the AM but got pretty warm by noon. The kids napped and so did I but only for about 30 minutes. Got ready and went to get my hot stone massage. It was pretty dang good but my masseuse was a bit weird. Some of them like to talk and some don’t; I think he was trying to. He had that country gay twang but kept trying to impersonate characters from The Incredibles to segue into a conversation. I kept answering in succinct no-more-to-tell ways so then he just shut up and did his job. I definitely needed to relax. I can’t even remember what we did that evening. Maybe we watched a movie?
Sunday morning, Ash went out to Torreya an hour away to run and the boys and I went to Target and a new Publix. Mike came for lunch, we watched football, my dad came for dinner because he’d been in Alabama at a funeral (lol; here’s where I make some snarky remark about the funeral for Alabama and their loss to Texas A&M) and then we built a fire in our firepit and roasted marshmallows.
Not a bad weekend and it ain’t over yet; later, we’re going to a friend’s house so the kids can play.

The Hawaii Five-Oh theme was classic! And reminds me of my childhood.
I also really loved the Baywatch theme song, not so much the chicks in bathing suits.
On that note, American Gladiators was awesome when I was 13!

Man, you got to watch some fun stuff during your childhood – I had to catch them on reruns after the fact since we didn’t have a TV during my childhood. Probably why I’m overindulging now in adulthood. 😉 Thanks for playing along! 🙂

Our weekend was a bit strange–well odd I guess. It just didn’t seem like a weekend. Doesn’t help that our university doesn’t take Veterans Day off.
I loved Saved By the Bell and I was a little older when watching it, well, a lot older. I loved Hawaii Five O “Book ’em Dano! ” Such fun picks. Enjoy the rest of your day off and have a great week 🙂

Well, yes there’s a lot of TV theme songs to pick from, but our theme was Children’s shows theme songs, but hey if you watched these as a kid good for you! hehehe Bay Watch kills me because I see these actors/actresses now and they still think it’s then. LOL Have a rockin’ week and thanks for sharing. I think I needed some adult themes right about now anyway hehehehe
