Oh yes, people; I am behind like nobody’s business this week. I don’t know why I can’t seem to catch up. Also? More broke than I thought. I think maybe I underestimated how much stuff costs these days. Anyway, on with the random!
- My brain is ready to just check out but I cannot do this. I am over committed and there’s just no end in sight.
- I told you how I got a one-time yard clean up for myself right? Now I am rethinking the price. It’s not much but should I really be buying something for ME this time of year? (Granted, everyone benefits.) My yard better look like a million bucks when they’re done.
- I left work early yesterday (because I wasn’t feeling well) and I got one more thing for Ash, a few stocking stuffers, and my cards (the ones for Ash, my parents, and my sister) and I am pretty darn happy that that’s all done with.
- Are you burned out on Christmas music yet? I’m getting there. Maybe I am just starting to get sick of the season.
- At the same time, I am starting to get really excited. Mostly because Elliot is pumped about it.
- I am, however, totally burned out on running. I have to stick it out for another couple weeks and then I am taking a break. A long one. And then I’ll reassess my plan.
- I ordered a ham. On Friday, I couldn’t get ahold of the Honey Baked Ham store. I wrote about it on Facebook and my friends were right: what a first world problem!
- Regardless, we’ll have a turkey breast AND a mini ham on Christmas day. God, I feel so privileged.
- Next week, both myself and the kids are off. My parents will probably stay until Tuesday and Ash might take a few days off. I am trying to plan some activities but I guarantee I will be losing my mind by the end of the week.
- This post is so not exciting, is it? Ok, I’ll finish up by telling you about this dream I had just before waking up on Sunday. It was True Blood related and a crew of folks were seiging a house with Sookie, Bill, and Eric inside and it then turned into some weird ass thing wherein Sookie was in the middle of a Bill and Eric sandwich. (wink wink) But the truly juicy part of it all was that I WAS Sookie. Yeah, a nice way to begin my Sunday!
And with that, I bring you Eric, er, Alexander Skarsgard. Enjoy!
I never tire of Christmas music. In fact, periodically throughout the year I catch myself either humming a tune or according to my DS which is worse I actually am singing the song. lol. I hope you don’t get sick. Maybe, you’re just feeling a little drained with all the Christmas to-dos. Merry Christmas!
I really haven’t done much with Christmas music, although what they play in Walmart does grate a bit.
My husband is going to be home for two weeks. I love him….but 5 whole days are about all I can take!
I get that people might be starting to tire of Christmas music…I’m not there yet, but I haven’t been overdoing it. Well…maybe a little too much Bieber, but other than that, I’m still good. 😉
And I think you for those pictures of Alexander Skarsgard. Made.my.day.
*thank you…*sigh*…I suck at proofreading today!
I tend to change the channel if I hear any Christmas music.. I want to hear it on my own terms. I’ve never heard of a yard clean up– but I”d like it if someone could do that for me at my house! Don’t feel guilty!! We all snag a lil’ something personal somehow this time of year!! Hang in there!! Its almost the new year!!
I like Christmas music, but I’m picky about it. There are a lot of really really bad songs out there! There are select few I’m a fan of, and most if it is instrumental.
It’s funny, I don’t want the Christmas season to end, but maybe that’s because it hasn’t really felt like Christmas around here. It’s the first year I have nowhere to go the day of, and nothing to get ready. It doesn’t really feel like Christmas to not be stressed. 😉
Oh and I don’t think there is anything wrong with doing something for yourself, and I don’t consider having the yard cleaned to be selfish!!
I am SO behind this week (this year) too. I’m hoping I can get things wrapped up in the next two days (get it? Wrapped?) 🙂
I think the excitement through the kids makes up for the stress and exhaustion us parents are suffering. At least that’s what I’m holding on to… 😉
Christmas music hasn’t got me in burn-out mode… yet.
I think you deserve to do something for YOU this time of year. If that means a yard cleanup, then go for it! Especially if it makes the yard look like a million bucks. Who wouldn’t want to look at a million bucks? 😉
Yummy man-candy again today!! 🙂
Holy jeez. I’m not a fan of his but those pics are HOT!
I think we’re all behind. No worries. A new year starts soon. Good job on keeping up on running. You’re my role model!
Christmas music needs to stop now.
Thanks for linking up, girlie!!
I am so behind. But then again we aren’t doing anything since we just bought a house. I am just glad to have my husband and my family. All the rest will settle itself out in the end.
I hope that you have a great Christmas!
Everyone is behind and broke, tis the season ya know!
I love Christmas music but it cannot be turned on until the day after Thanksgiving and it must stop on the 26th!
Thanks for linking up and have a very Merry Christmas!
