I don’t do this meme often but I thought of a good song for this week’s theme of military/American/Patriotic. The song that comes to mind first is, of course, the classic Hulk Hogan theme song!
It takes us back to a time when I think people believed in the American way more than we do now. With our economy in the toilet and a growing distrust of our government, this sort of patriotic sentiment is waning. When I listen to this song, I remember a time when I felt more secure. Though, I was a child and had far less to worry about than I do now!

I totally feel you on this. I’m not sure if it was because I was a child too but it seems as if things have changed greatly as I’m sure it does with every generation. But it really makes you wonder where we are headed as a country…

It is sad the games politicians are playing with our lives. Here in Wisconsin we start recall elections tomorrow, I just hope things turn around soon and the Middle Class can survive.
I think people believed in the American way more than we do now.
