- I sat on a Thursday 13 post forever and only got through 8. I’m quite busy, you see. But I am pretty motivated today and in a good mood. Funny though, it seems all 3 kids woke up in less than stellar moods. But chin up, young person! Does anyone remember the movie Strictly Ballroom? That quote is from there and it lives rent free in my head.
- On Wednesday, I saw a deer while walking to the chapel. This is odd because they typically aren’t out past early morning but that was around 11:30. I like to think when I witness a wild thing, it’s just God showing himself.
- I’m going easy on teaching today. Yes, we will talk about certain things but I am not making them do a ton of work. It’s Friday, after all!
- We brewed a Vienna Lager last night and despite a little trouble as we began, it turned out fine. In fact, it was a fairly easy brew night and I got everything cleaned by about 8:30. But as soon as I sat in my chair, I was DONE. Didn’t think I was that tired! Teaching doesn’t seem exhausting but in fact, it is.
- The first Premier League game is on today and I haven’t got a lot of weekend plans other than watching soccer and drinking beer and a trip to Target and laundry. That’s not to say we won’t come up with other stuff but for now, that sounds right up my alley! Have a good weekend, all.

Congrats on the week being done! I’m working part time at a school and my day ends in the early afternoon but, man, five days in a row is a lot and I can see how you’re tired. Your weekend plans sound nice! We have more plans than we normally do but that’s ok. I honestly don’t mind a busy weekend or a chill one. Both have advantages and disadvantages.
