- I began my day as a bus service; we let our oldest stay home today because he just had a birthday and well, I don’t know; my husband said it was ok! But that meant I took my middle to school and then my daughter to XC practice. Now I am trying to upload a video but it is just not working! I hate that. I am trying to be patient but I may just up and take my run and then deal with it.
- It’s not cool out, per se, but it isn’t hot or humid. I know that Labor Day weekend is the unofficial end of summer but not in Florida! It is, however, Jimmy Buffet day here. I got to work on that bill so, that’s kind of cool. I am a fan.
- Does your significant other play the game of “Where’s my X?” and when you find it, exactly where you said it was, they don’t believe you that it was there? I feel like this is common in my household. I also look at it like one of those tests for learning how to not say something to start an argument. Whatever you say, dear.
- In good news, I ran into the associate dean at TSC and she filled me in on some details we’d previously discussed. Adjuncts could take these two professional development semester-long courses to increase their pay and I did that but it was 2 years ago. I’d asked if that was still registering and she said my name had dropped off the list but she researched it and put me back on; yay! She also apologized for not having an express session course to give me but it turns out, she didn’t have any in the classroom, but she had one online, which is what I preferred anyway! So I picked that up, which means extra money. More work, sure, but money nonetheless.
- I feel sort of a looming sense of stress but I am trying to cope. I’ll probably feel a lot better after my run and whatnot. I also really need to check other things off my list and then I can relax. Happy Friday!

Yes, in Florida it is an official day as of July 1. I edited the bill! He is a treasure here in our state.

The adjunct instructor life can be stressful, I’ve seen that from our adjuncts at work. But sounds like things are going well for you there. Enjoy running in the cool-ish!
My husband and I are fans of Jimmy Buffett too. We used to listen to his music on cassette’s (I know!? Before you were born probably, right?!) on our many SCUBA diving excursions. Those were the days … Now I want a Margarita. lol💙
