- I have been putting a giant X on the calendar at the end of each day, noting how much longer I have in this job. And mostly, so every asshole here can see.
- Have you watched The Boys yet? It’s… interesting. A cool take on superheroes and how they handle their responsibility. I know it’s comic book based so some stuff is a little ridiculous – and it IS gory – but I’m enjoying it. And also, Karl Urban’s beard. Unf. Never been much of a fan but wow – keep the beard, dude.
- .
- I can’t believe my kids go back to school soon! How did summer – specifically June and July – pass SO quickly? It’s insane. I enjoyed those months very much but also, cannot believe they slipped right through my fingers.
- In some ways, I guess I look forward to fall: my new schedule, the kids in sports again, cooler weather.
- Now, if I could just not have these sinus issues. They started Friday and have gotten worse. I can keep them at bay with Dayquil but that’s not a solution.
- This is the first time since I started taking the two supplements – NMN and Reservatrol – that I have been even slightly under the weather (natural, not alcohol induced) so it’s a little surprising. I think we’ve been taking those since March.
- I have to go over to TCC today to do my hiring paperwork. I wish I felt better, more clear in the head. I know I am going to miss some info they give me because I cannot focus. Maybe what happened is I got worn down from all the activity and stress from trying to get out of this job.
- I am looking forward to my day off Friday, even though it’s to take my oldest to get a hair cut and to his 7th grade orientation. It’s still a day when I’m not in the office!
Seen adds for “the Boy” but I am not into superheroes, winter here is dragging on
I giggled over you putting giant X’s on your calendar marking down the days… I totally would do that! 🙂
I watched the trailer for The Boys – and added it to my queue… I figure since there seems to be gore, it’s best I binge watch without the kiddoes around. Although I think Princess Nagger might be able to handle it (and maybe she’ll have an appreciation for my penchant for super hero movies and shows…heh!!)
Summer really did fly by fast!! My kids go back 3 weeks from today – but fall is my favorite season, so I’m looking forward to the weather changes for sure. 🙂
Hope you’re feeling better – nothing worse than trying to be present when your head and brain is all foggy!
