I feel like I slept well but it was rough getting up today. Though I have had two cups of coffee, I am definitely still feeling pretty tired. Maybe it’s because I am just worn out from the weekend.
Friday afternoon at work we had our undergrad/grad awards ceremony. I went to eat cake, not gonna lie. In the evening, I ate wings then we went to a snow cone place after. I should have known I’d regret all that; at about 3 am I woke up with the worst stomach pains. Sigh.
Saturday was very busy, with Ash having a couple things to do (fly his drone, pool store stuff, etc) and me trying to get more boxes unpacked, I barely felt like I got a break. I did set out to take a nap but the neighbor kids came over and they all had a huge Nerf gun fight. I’m glad they have friends so quickly in the new place but wow, they make a lot of noise. My daughter slept through it all but I could not.
On Sunday we managed to risk life and limb to get up on the roof and get rid of debris, which people clearly had not done in a while. I don’t recommend this if you have a two story home but it had to be done. I was worn out after more unpacking and all that but I feel like we really utilized our time.
In honor of Earth day, I am going to take a different route; a song that can be understood as a warning.
YES! I always wanted to hear this one. Thanks!
Waking up tired is horrible have had that happen to me a number of times and I really don’t like it, this morning I have a cough and a headache, I hope I am not getting sick
My husband and son are both big Metallica fans (me only a tiny bit less so). Their sound is so distinctive. And, by the way, as you get older, your digestive gets less and less forgiving. Just a tip…….
Sounds like you had a busy weekend! I admire your tenacity for getting up on your 2-story roof – ours has too steep of a pitch and the hubby has a fear of heights, so we have to get someone to do that for us. 😉
Thanks for the song introduction and the dance! 🙂
I have to apologize that I did not hear all of your tune because it’s very late & I don’t want to wake up hubby, but this one is quite the introduction & really not something I or my husband would listen too, much less understand… I must say it’s quite the different tune & not sure I understand it, but I’ll take your word for it! ~hehe~ Now as far as jumpin’ around on the roof you should’ve called my son… hehehe… he does that all the time for State Farm. He inspects roofs. He’s my own private little monkey is what I call him, but such a good boy! Love him too pieces & so proud of him too! He’s an X-Marine you know! Anyway, girl you got brass iron.. you know what to get up there that’s for sure & you must have energy stored some where & every time you need some you run & get it or what??? Sheesh! All that & unpacking too??? DOUBLE SHEESH! Well, I guess I did too when I was younger… i JUST don’t remember when that was anymore… BWAHAHAHAHA Anyway, take it easy girlfriend you deserve it!
Good song choice!

Being worn out does make it difficult to get going but I think allergy season is to blame in part, too. Here’s hoping you’re up to speed today. Thanks for hitting the dance floor with the 4M gang. Have a funtastic week!

Being tire is no fun! Like the music choice!
My husband do love Metallica. I wonder if he knows this one too!
