Yes, our weekend was a good balance of fun and work. Aside from being plagued by allergies, the weekend was pretty successful. Ash and I ran a lot of important errands Friday afternoon. We got some chemicals for the pool, mailed some rebates, got gifts for my middle son’s birthday. My oldest spent the night at a friend’s Friday so it was a quiet evening.

On Saturday, we ran some errands and out of the blue, a friend called and asked if we wanted to meet her and her family at a local wing place. Though some of us had eaten, we met up for drinks and appetizers. This was the aforementioned fun. We spent the rest of our weekend getting things for the house and running to the storage unit. We’re trying to deplete those as quickly as possible. I feel like we did a lot of good work so I was ready for Monday… not. I am exhausted today. I don’t know what it is but I just feel out of sorts. It got cold again though so maybe that’s it.

I recently got back into Ghost because they put out a new song. I love this band because look at Toby. Just look at him!

He is smol and unassuming. But in his other incarnations with the band, he’s a badass creepy character.

Sure, their music may be a little demonic but it’s all a show. And in the end, isn’t that what it’s all about? It’s about being entertaining. It’s not too serious, which is really nice in a world where people take everything WAY too seriously.

It’s like, Singing in the Rain meets Thriller. I love it. And for those not in the know, every time they put out an album, the lead singer (Tobias Forge) revamps his character. It was Papa i, ii, and then iii, and now, Cardinal Copia. They added a female Ghoul this time too, but he fired all the old band members anyway and there was a lawsuit and well, I have no idea who the ghouls are now but hey, good song.
