Seriously, it feels like things are moving so quickly. This year, more than others in recent years, I feel like I may not have enough time to buy gifts and get everything done before Christmas. And it is on the first week of November!
Anyway, my weekend was pretty darn decent. We did a lap around Lake Ella for Pokemon purposes Friday evening and then did… not much. I was flat out exhausted because last week was super busy.
Saturday we finished up the flag football season. We had 8:30 and 10:30 games and boys boys’ teams won. It was a nice way to end up and I was a little sad to see it end. Elliot’s teacher even came to his game and then his coach said he wants him on his team next year. Heck yeah! I admit it: I am still a wee bit star struck about Peter Boulware. I mean, he was a 5 time Pro bowler! A Superbowl winner! I know he’s just a regular family man now but to me, that is still amazing. You feel like you’re in the presence of greatness. At least, that’s how it makes me feel.
We did our typical Sonny’s and nap time then a trip to Costco before dinner and some time spent outside but the sun goes down way too early for that these days, you have to squeeze in whatever you can.
Sunday we ran and I got a lot of cleaning done. Mostly, we watched football and ate and slept. I love days like that, don’t you?
Freeeeeebie!
I’ve been feeling Rainbow lately. Ritchie Blackmore’s Rainbow, if you will. Though they had various singers, I’m partial to the Ronnie James Dio and Joe Lynn Turner years.
Oh yes, I hate this getting dark soooooo early! Hubby doesn’t get home until 6:20 and he said this morning see you tonight! Bummer… that’s right it’ll be dark when he gets home. Thanks for the introduction to these songs. I really like the first one. Guess you can say it’s sort of romantic the kind of song you can dance with hubby too in the frontroom… Thanks just might do that!!! Have a great week!
It does seem that time moves faster when it hits this month.
And yes, days like those are very good.
Thanks for sharing the music also!
Aloha 🙂
Great music! Ritchie Blackmore is a fantastic metal guitarist.
