It is beautiful this morning! 63 degrees and breezy! I know some people are dealing with Hurricane Matthew fallout and I hope they are all ok but the storm did bring us some cooler temps.

I did NOT feel like getting up today – so much so that I didn’t even hear the alarm. I woke up and Ash was already showering. That shows how asleep I was at 6 AM. I normally bound out of bed, ready to start the day but I am dragging for sure today.

Weekend was good; both boys won their flag games. Ell had some really good runs because their first string RB wasn’t there. I am glad he got to prove himself to his team and coach. Isaac also scored a TD, which is par for the course these days. Seriously, it isn’t fair to have a league of 4-6 year olds. There’s such a huge gap between the mental and physical capability of a kid who may have JUST turned four and a kid who might turn seven in a month. It should be 4 and 5 years olds, then a 5/6 league where there’s some kind of cut off. ANYway…

…I got some cleaning done and Ell wasn’t there Saturday night; he had a birthday sleepover and I didn’t see him again until late the next day. Of course, he came home exhausted and irritable. Luckily he is all better today and not a huge pain in everyone’s butt. Sigh. But this week brings about: two teacher conferences for the boys, a day off on Wednesday, and a crap-ton of grading on my part.
