{1} If you could choose a Super Power, what would it be?
I know flying is the obvious answer but even now as an adult I have dreams I am floating high above the world and it is so… peaceful. I don’t get a lot of peace these days.
{2} What would be your first frivolous purchase if you were awarded a million dollars tomorrow? (and don’t say “that’s not a lot of money”, it sounds pretentious)
Hmm, I think about this sometimes when I am down about my financial situation and if you want to know in terms of frivolity, I would say… a collection of lenses for my camera. And then whatever’s left (ok I know that’s a lot if we’re not talking buying a house, here) I’d totally just go buy clothes. To me, that’s frivolous!
{3} What would be the hardest current luxury for you to give up?
Ah, another think I think about because a couple months ago, we were considering getting rid of Direct TV. Is my car considered a luxury? We carpooled for four months and though it sucked, it turned out alright. And I know a lot of families who only have one car.
{4} If you were given a choice between being given great wisdom and great wealth, which would you choose?
Great wisdom would yield great wealth. I’d take wisdom any day.
{5} I you were to be stranded on a deserted island for 100 days what 5 THINGS would you pack?
This is always a tough question, you know? Ok, item #1: a device that purifies water. Item #2: A tent. Item #3: The best book ever. Item #4: a book of matches. item #5: a knife, so I could get wood for things like the fire, a spear, etc. There would be things I missed but if it only lasted 100 days. I’d make it.

YES!!!! I miss buying clothes! I used to be able to get a new outfit once a week! Of course, this was during one of my marriages! LOL
I need some lenses, I only have the one that came with my camera, maybe someday! Oh, and Direct TV is a good one, we have talked about that in tight times, I would miss it!

Ahhhhh! I forgot about water…but I guess I could just boil it since I chose fire and something to cook with, I can’t believe I forgot about that!
I chose flying too, to me it’s a no brainer.
And yes, a car is definitely a luxury. You can get away without having one, but boy does it suck to NOT have one! That was my immediate answer!
We both picked almost the same answers for what we’d bring to the island. We are so ready to rough it!

Duct tape…because you can do all kinds of things with it. Tie trees together, tie up bad guys…and I hear you can make a wallet out of it.

OOooo..if I chose flying, then I would never crash because I would be awesome at it but what about my luggage? I couldn’t fly with it, could I? Hmm…
I think having a car is a luxury for sure. I don’t think I could do without one. I’m not much on taking a taxi or a bus. Good answer!
Lots of people are bringing knives. I don’t think I could kill anything. I want someone else to do it for me and cook it too. Is that asking too much? I guess I’m high maintenance. =(

You know, you never think that the items you have are a luxery until its taken away from you.. and I never thought of my car but that would be a def. one that I wouldn’t want to live without– I’d be complaining all the time but I might be in better shape if I had to walk/bike somewhere.. heh!!
