Insert awesome title here

I guess I need to find some more riveting topics; self awareness sort of talk doesn’t get me very far in the comments department. Not that I blog for comments, but they’re nice to have. They spawn conversation and arguments and that makes for good reading when there’s not a whole lot to do during the day. You all know what I’m talking about.

I think I slept for roughly 7 hours but I’m draggin’ today. Need some caffeine or something better than this bowl of oatmeal. Isn’t oatmeal supposed to be filling? It’s not really doing anything for this here belly. You know, on that topic I think I have actually lost some weight. Er, fat really, from my sides and from my forearms/wrists. I’m definitely eating enough calories in a day but maybe little Elliot needed some more and decided to help mommy out a bit. Thanks, baby!

In completely unrelated news, our IMAX finally got 300 so we’ll probably go see it this weekend. I have heard many things about its weak plot but sculptured abs on a larger than life screen may make up for a lousy story. In fact, in some sort of guilty pleasure way, I’m very much looking forward to seeing it.

Thursday, 9:30 AM, not much longer until it will be the weekend and I seriously need it this week. Haven’t felt my best, both physically and emotionally and a weekend of shopping and cleaning will hopefully alleviate that. God, I sound so domestic.

  1. I think we’re going to see Spidey 3 on Friday with some friends. Not that excited to see it, but the friends are, and I don’t wanna rain on the parade. The fact of the matter is that I’m not that much of a movie guy. I prefer television. Kind of in the same way that secretly deep down I prefer short stories to novels.

  2. I loved 300, but I also loved the graphic novel. And I’m a simple girl and I like almost everything I see. Still, Gerard Butler … lovely lovely man.

  3. We haven’t seen Spidey yet either – I hear there’s a lot of man crying.

Yeah, if Butler’s in a movie, I’ll see it, no matter how bad. (e.g. Dracula 2000)

  4. I liked the first one, wasn’t fond of the 2nd one at all, and pretty much think this one will blow. But I’m a sucker and I see all that crap.

  5. I didn’t like Spidey 3. It dragged for about 45 minutes too long, I’ve seen better action, and the character development went too far (i.e. should’ve stopped when he got a dark side).
