Hmm, what the heck HAVE I been doing? I know I started a Friday post but it never came to fruition. We ate keto and didn’t drink or anything the few days last week after we got home from vacation. We watched a relatively new movie called Citizen Vigilante. It’s by a writer/director named Uwe Boll, who we’d watched before because he tends to trend, well, more center than most Hollywood types. This movie focused on the immigrant problem Europe has and man, I commend this guy for tackling a timely and problematic issue in our world!
Friday, Ash had a half day so we had Mexican, some beer, played some bowling, then swam for a little while with the kids. That was pretty fun but tiring and I should have packed that night but totally did not.
Which meant I woke up early Saturday to throw things together. Our friends got to the house by 7 and we headed to Atlanta. We have a place in Decatur and have been walking around, going to various places to drink and watch World Cup. It’s been pretty fun, if not a little exhausting. Today, they have to do some work so we have a little bit of a slower morning but are meeting for lunch and the games after. It’s been fun but I am honestly ready to go back to some normal life stuff.
Coming up this week is a meeting for our brew club and the following weekend we have the holiday, obviously, and then my husband’s birthday. He’s off a lot of these days because our governor is awesome and gives state employees a lot. Should be some fun days ahead!
The immigrant problem is not one that many want to talk about (especially in mainstream media) because it implicates country’s leaders as well as globalists who want, I believe, the West to fall. The World Cup is definitely something to unite people to their country (or if their team is out of it, their favorite team :)) and it’s fun to watch athletes of the highest caliber out on the pitch. Safe travels home!
I hope you have a wonderful trip!
You do have an awesome governor. I just read about how fiscally responsible he has been and has got Florida in a great place. We’re watching a lot of World Cup too, but just at home. I would enjoy the atmosphere of going to one of the stadiums and seeing a match. Enjoy!
