- We made it! Today is the last day of the third quarter. There’s something that is the worst about this quarter when teaching high school; seems like just when you get some momentum, something happens. We had Catholic Schools Week and testing and Lent stuff. But we made it and I am thrilled to put this semester behind us.
- I am trying to put more positivity out into the world so with that being said, I have come to like my new car. I was suspect of a Subaru at first but in all actuality, it drives a lot like my Honda. I sit a little lower than before but not on the ground like most cars feel. I replaced the radiator cap because I think it was having issues so now it feels good. I have never owned an all wheel drive car either so that’s kind of neat.
- I’ve been listening to a lot of showtunes lately. I don’t know why but here are some of my favorites: From A Star is Born, The Man That Got Away, from Cabaret, Maybe This Time, from Camelot, If Ever I Would Leave You, and from Oklahoma, The Surrey with the Fringe on Top.
- It got cool again, which I am not complaining about. For some reason the early heat irritated me. And that’s weird because I don’t mind being hot. But it felt sort of cloying and more humid than what I am used to and I was annoyed that it came in so early in the year, considering we had a good three week stint not long ago where it was just flat out COLD.
- I told you my daughter’s phone broke so she is without right now. But I figured out that I can message myself on Facebook messenger so I can message her on my phone to my tablet while she is still home. I’m kind of proud of myself! She won’t have a phone on our mini vacation this coming week but oh well! On that note, we are heading to Pensacola and then New Orleans tomorrow. I’m excited; we’re going to the World War 2 museum, the Voodoo museum, and probably jazz clubs and breweries. We aren’t there but 3.5 days but we’re going to pack it in! I probably won’t blog next week so talk to you later!
Have a great time on your trip!!
