- Happy Friday! I am actively trying not to be panicky like I am used to. Reading the Carnegie book is a great reminder to stay in the moment. SO, today involves finishing up grading, getting my classes ready for next week, a few house cleaning things, then my husband is doing a half day and we’re going to have lunch and drinks!
- We have been very good about not drinking during the week. We were all willy-nilly picking nights to do it and it was interfering with my sleep, mostly. So you’d better believe I’m going to drink some beer today! We have a lot still from our Atlanta trip and some we picked up this past weekend.
- I also might be taking my car to my friend to work on. He’s a mechanic and also owned the same vehicle for a long time so I ask him when I think my normal shop is overcharging. I recall them saying that to replace the cv axle would be about 900 bucks. I looked up the part and it’s only 250. Good Lord, that’s a rip. I haven’t gotten a total yet but I am sure it’ll be cheaper. I was stressing about not having the car and all that but you know, taking into account all the non-worry tactics, there’s no point. This has to get done so put that aside and live life.
- We saw the Minecraft movie last night and my husband and middle boy liked it. I liked what I saw of it, that is to say, the start and end. LOL. It was a late movie and I just cannot stay up. But one complaint was that there were a lot of college-aged kids and I don’t know if their parents never took them to movies or taught them manners but they talked and laughed and made sounds the entire time like they were in their own damned living room. I mean, it’s one thing if everyone is laughing but these guys were cutting up about whatever. They took up a whole row too, guys and girls. It was pretty annoying.
- I’ve gotten my Saturday AtoZ post written but I am hung up on F for Sunday. I guess I will need to sit on it some more. In the meantime, here are some photos from around the yard. It’s Spring for sure!

ACTUALLY, Florida is totally doable as I do love my state.
