Friday faves and 5

OK, here are some faves of my week. Hmm, I wasn’t exactly in a good mood this week so I mean, favorites? I guess I have to dig deep on this one.

The youngers and I went looking for some ugly sweaters for our Xmas party and we found this for 6 bucks! This is definitely an IYKYK thing.

Isaac was in a good mood when we were out and tried on Dakota’s old glasses:

FRIDAY FIVE:

  1. My husband is home! He got back around 7:30 last night and I was finally able to sleep well. LOL. I just don’t sleep that great when I’m #1 draft pick in the house. We started watching the Thursday night football game and soon enough, I was fast asleep in my chair.
  2. When I woke around 11, I felt heavy. I realized yesterday that my run and subsequent walk’s fallout was taking its toll, which is normal for the day after. But I felt like I just could not get up. I didn’t feel like I was getting sick. I just felt like my body was so bone-tired.
  3. Lucky for me, we are probably going ride about 65 miles today. I am hoping anyway. We have to plan our route but if we drive to Panacea and park, we can get about 32 miles to Carrabelle and back, which is at least close. Problem is, Panacea is about a 45-50 minutes drive. But that’s what we have to do if we don’t want to ride on busy-ish hilly roads.
  4. However, I also want to get the ride out of the way today while the kids are in school so we can enjoy our weekend. That distance takes up so much time and I’d rather not do it on Saturday. And we definitely can’t do them on Sundays anymore because we won’t make it home in time for football!
  5. If you’re following along at home, I’m still worrying about Spring money/class sections for me to teach but I think I have gotten myself where I trust that ‘everything will be ok’ and ‘God has this in his hands.’ At least, here’s hoping. Happy Friday everyone!

  1. Yay for sleep!! I hope your bike ride goes well today. Once again, y’all amaze me with the distances you ride. That is so impressive. You got a great Ralphie’s bunny costume for $6 — clever idea for an ugly sweater party!!

  2. Cute pictures! I am glad that your husband is home and you aren’t the #1 draft pick (so funny!). Your ride sounds impressive. I hope it went well!
