Yeah I just had to write. Much in the same way I explained how prayer was useful/cathartic to me, so is writing.

• I am ready, so ready, for Session to be over. I feel like this last week has just been a struggle to survive. And that’s what it is: just surviving. Friday I guess I got to leave a little early but it feels like a lifetime ago.
• While getting in my car yesterday morning I misjudged where I set my laptop bag and it fell out, right on top of my foot. The corner of my big ol’ laptop, right onto the bone on my foot. OW. There’s a nice bruise there now. Ugh.
• Yesterday was such a whirlwind; I got to work at 7:30, left at 6:30 and went straight to Costco for the stuff for Saturday’s club brew at the house, took it home, changed, then went right back out to Ology for Bingo. We were not home until 9:30 and of course, I was promptly asleep after that!
• Slept pretty good but I still feel so stretched thin right now.
• I lost the top button on this shirt I love for work; it’s one of those that doesn’t button up to the top but has about 4 at mid-chest level and while the shirt still looks ok, the floppiness it has now due to the loss is irritating. Ugh.
• It’s somehow only 10 o’clock – Session begins at 10:30 – but I am already so tired. I even just shut my door for 10 minutes and “slept” sitting up in my chair!
• Today the Legislature does this thing called “returning messages” which are Senate bills that passed and have to now pass the House but they come in as they happen so there’s no set time or anything. We just wait and see. Which is nuts, I know, but it’s almost over so… yay.
