Random Tuesday

  • I don’t watch the Superbowl for the halftime show, because it’s never “for” me, seeing as how my musical taste are not “normie”. But I actually enjoyed the Usher one. Funny thing is: I keep seeing articles about how bad it was. This just shows how unlike everyone else I am. I don’t really mind; in fact, I’ve gotten quite used to it. But the show itself was interesting, you knew he was actually singing, and they ended on a high note. What’s not to love?
  • I’m glad that season of football is over; I’m a little sick of hearing about Taylor and “Taylor Swift’s boyfriend.” I had to laugh at this thing I saw yesterday that was an image of a tweet Hillary Clinton put out saying “Congrats to Taylor Swift’s boyfriend” and someone replied saying, “I doubt you’d like it if people said ‘Congrats to Bill’s wife.'” Lol. The hypocrisy is real with these people.
  • I feel like I got so much done yesterday when I left about 45 mins earlier than normal. Funny how that makes a difference. I need to keep that in mind when Session is over and I leave at 3:30/4. I could do so much!
  • Today is going to be deceptive, I can tell. The time is already going quickly but I guarantee there will be a moment where it comes to a grinding halt and it’ll be, like, 3:22 forever.
  • LOL I wrote that earlier and the time was more like 2:15. I read an article, I played a quick game, then laid down and took a nap. It’s now ONYL 3 pm and I knew this would happen. Le sigh. Guess it’s time to get up and walk my stairs!

  1. Where in the world can you lie down and take a nap at your office? I love that! I’ve always thought that every office should have a nap mat for just a quick 20 minute rest every day.

  2. I ended up helping my son take care of some things at his apartment and didn’t even watch the half-time show or see much of the Superbowl. No regrets. Will we hear less of Taylor Swift and her boyfriend now? Doubt it.

There are days I’d love a nap at work!
