- I woke up all disoriented today but managed to drag myself downstairs and make the coffee. As I was sitting down to drink it, I remembered that I had a horrible dream that my mom died. There were no details but the dream centered on the grief of knowing I couldn’t just call her and talk. It was awful! I had to text her this morning to make sure she was ok.
- The work day has been slightly different than normal; talked to a lot of people early on. Normally, I come in and work hard for a few hours then once everyone is in (I’m an early arriver) we tend to chat. Maybe that means the day will move quickly. I need this weekend!
- Isaac has two soccer games Saturday and then we have no other plans, which is nice. We might brew a red ale in the afternoon then and just hang out. Tonight, he and Ash are seeing a movie together so Koda and I will probably go to Target. We’ll see; I’m not trying to spend money just because. Not when Xmas is around the corner. But I know she likes to go and we haven’t been in a while.
- I watched this cool documentary on youtube yesterday about the Whiskey a-go-go and the Rainbow Room. I mean, I LVOE the glam metal scene and and the whole Sunset Strip iconography so it was a really neat watch, especially since they focused on the family that owns it and how they helped all these rock stars climb the ladder to fame. It was well worth the hour I spent.
- I have a killer headache so I’m about to delve into work and hope to get enough done I can leave around 3:30 instead of 4:30. In the meantime, I’m off to make a to-do list for this weekend because I have got to get stuff done!
