Good Lord, you guys. If you read yesterday’s post, you’ll get an idea for the kind of weekend I had. It was both good and bad and that’s about all I am going to say about it!
So yes, changes. All the kids went to new schools today, since we moved across town. I dropped the younger two off but plan to meet them at the bus after school. Neither cried; they both seemed pretty happy. actually. I know Elliot closed up and went to the bus stop and the neighbor, whose kids also go, told me they did indeed get on it. I cannot wait to hear how their days went (hopefully good.) We plan to take them to dinner and talk all about it.
Anyway, let’s get on with the songs:

Let’s go back to 1997 when there was this weird ass Swing resurgence and this band, Squirrel Nut Zippers got big for a hot second.

Squirrel Nut Zippers just came out with a new album, “Beasts of Burgundy,” earlier this year. It’s really good! Discogs says they have eight albums all told, but the only ones I have are “Hot” and that one. I like your take on the theme.
This was a lot of fun! I don’t know that I have ever heard of the Squirrel Nut Zippers before. I’m going to have to check into them further. Thank you for the introduction.

I do not remember Squirrel Nut Zippers (crazy name) but I sure do like their sound a lot! The Eagles totally rock and make me think of a sweet time from my youth (1975). I was only 14 when this song came out.
