Oh man, the glorious few morning hours when the kids are (mostly) good. It’s only 8:30 and they’re already asking for food, though they ate relatively hearty breakfasts around 7. I hate these days when they’re off school but I have to work. My office is a lot more conducive to having kids because no one is really around now, but still. I could have sent them to a camp but I am not made of money!
We had a pretty productive weekend so that has helped my overall happiness level. I mowed the back yard, the kids picked up lots of leaves, we put up some Christmas lights, and I think I am DONE shopping. Now, just have to NOT think about my credit card bill come the end of January! LOL. Ah, Christmastime.
It got warmish here again; rain is coming so it’s 68 but 100% humidity. Florida is such a weird place, I tell you.
Anyway, let’s go ahead and pick some songs.
****************
I know it’s nerdy and all but I could honestly listen to this Kenny G album all the time. here’s one of my faves.
and let’s go nontraditional with Metallica’s version of Carol of the bells!
I love school holidays always have but then I never had to go out to work, am I ready for Christmas more or less
Oh….probably others have told you by now that this is Trans Siberian Orchestra – and I was sitting there with my husband awaiting some awesomeness – it was awesome but just not the way I thought it would be, lol. I love TSO, though, so no worries! (Either that or Metallica has just done the most amazing TSO cover ever!)
I have heard this song over and over and over, but never knew it was by Metallica. Shame on me! I mean dang! Even my husband knew that. bwahahahaha MERRY CHRISTMAS! Thanks for sharing. hugs
Neat choices! Happy Holidays
I don’t know how anyone could work at home with kids off for winter break – summer usually works, but winter was always way too keyed up.
Loved the Metallica version of Carol of the Bells!
