QUESTIONS–

1.) Do you have any New Year’s traditions?

2.) Resolutions: make them and stick to them or forgo them entirely?

3.) What is one thing you want to see happen in 2014? (For you or in general)
4.) What do you have coming up in 2014?
5.) List three things you did in 2013 that you’d like to avoid in 2014.
–ANSWERS–
1.)No, we never really had any traditions. My mother did usually make black eyed peas, which supposedly bring good luck.
2.) I used to always make resolutions but it brought me so much stress and the feeling of failure if I didn’t reach them, that I haven’t done it in a while. Now, I just vow to make each year better than the last.
3.) In 2014, I’d like to see less stress. For everyone.
4.) In just a few weeks, I am having carpal tunnel surgery on my left hand. I am hoping that there will be a lot of changes in 2014.
5.) Three things in 2013 I want to avoid; hmmm. Well, I lost one of my online jobs in May so no more of that. I was pregnant and feeling like crap and I KNOW we’re avoiding that one. And in general, we just had a lot of little nitpicky crap happen to us and I am hoping 2014 is the year of change and improvement and happiness. NOT like 2013!

    1. That might be a pretty good idea. Maybe have each kid think of one thing they need to improve and write it down. I find my kids do well with written reminders.
