I failed to mention this, oh, the last two weeks but Stacy is temporarily hosting this meme until it goes back to its rightful owner. So go on ahead and get yer random on.
- I have Tim McGraw’s “Live Like You Were Dying” stuck in my head for some reason. I hope it’s not some kind of sign.
- My three day weekend included: stitches coming out, grocery shopping, Source Code, family in town, Isaac’s birthday party, margaritas, hiking, and way too much bad food.
- Luckily, I ran on Sunday afternoon.
- I am officially “watching what I eat”. This means no random treats because I feel like it, larger lunches, smaller dinners, and no late night snacking.
- The Disney half and marathon is the second weekend in January 2012 and I think it’ll work out fine for us all to go. Ash and his brother are running the Goofy – the half on Saturday AND the full on Sunday. But I am just shooting for the half. Since it’ll be my second one, I will train for a sub 2:20.
- My dad found a tick on himself after our hike Sunday and I saw this funky bug on my arm in the car but brushed it off so now I am paranoid that it was a tick and that it’s living in my car. I read that they can live without a host under starvation conditions for up to three years. OMG.
- Isaac’s birthday party was a blast and went really well. I was so relived that I was asleep on the couch by 8:30 that night. Meanwhile, my sister, her bf and Ash stayed up ’til 1.
- I really like getting mail, like in my mailbox, but find that lately, it’s either bills or junk. However, I still get momentarily excited to check it.
- As my title suggests, I am counting down. Counting down the weeks until my money woes are no more. It will take some budget adjusting at first but then, oh, it will be sweet. Without that hanging over my head, I can focus on so many other things.
In my third week of posting Man Candy, I featured Brazilian model Arthur Sales but I didn’t do him justice. Today he gets two shout-outs because he’s really quite tasty. The first is a great pic and the video, well, let’s just say it makes me wanna ride on motorcycles with Brazilian boys.

I need to watch what I eat too because I had a kidney scare, it’s so hard to watch what I eat, especially because I love the bad kind of food!
Ticks are scary little buggers! I’ve never seen one up close but I’ve seen horrific stories about them on Discovery about them burrowing in the skin and laying eggs.. Scary.
I too am counting the days until my financial woes end, I hope I find a job soon so it’ll end sooner. 😛
