For today’s Thursday 13, I feel it necessary to outline thirteen things I’d rather be doing than sitting at my desk. Go here if you feel like making your own list or reading others.

I’d rather…

1.) …watch the sun rise over the Atlantic in Palm Beach, Florida. Preferably with a cup of coffee, walking alongside my grandfather,  as it used to be a tradition when I visited.

2.) …listen to a band play on a sunny day in Central Park, New York City, New York.

 

3.) …walk through Dorothy B. Oven park in Tallahassee, FL on a Spring day.

4.) …eat toast and drink tea. At home.

5.)…watch an Arizona sunset.

6.)…climb to the top of Diamond Head, Waikiki, Hawaii.

7.) …drink champagne and eat chocolate covered strawberries while in a jacuzzi tub.

8.)…paint with my oldest son

9.) …sleep in my nice, cozy bed, blinds open to let the sunlight pour in.

10.)…explore Chicago and all its awesome sights.

11.)…walk the cozy side streets of the towns of Havana, Quincy, and Thomasville, not far from here.

12.) …stroll through a pumpkin patch – one of my most favorite places – with my boys.

13.)…and even though my foot still hurts, I’d totally rather be running!
