Friday Confessional – Date day edition

I confess…

  • When I write the above, my head starts reciting the I Confess to You prayer: “I confess to Almighty God and to you my brothers and sisters…” And I’m not even all that religious!
  • I have had two meatball subs this week. And a cheeseburger. Be still my clogged arteries.
  • I bookmarked three romance writing websites this week. Tee hee.
  • I’ve been DVRing The Vampire Diaries because I want to watch it… but I haven’t yet. And I feel bad for taking up space.
  • I find myself more interested in fictional relationships than real ones. (Bones, etc…)
  • Three nights this week I was in bed before 9:30.
  • I still bite my cuticles even though my dentist told me to stop or this chipped tooth fix won’t stick.
  • We had a meeting yesterday and the girl who was hired for the job I also interviewed for really sounded like she was overwhelmed and clueless. This brought me a great deal of satisfaction because the things she was confused about are things I totally know how to do. I would have been dominating that job.

That’s all the dirt I got on myself right now. happy effing Friday, people! Have a kick ass weekend!

  1. Ok how can you not be crazy about Bones! Love that show.. Sorry about the job but glad you know you are the “bomb diggity” when it comes to what you can do.. I am sure your time is coming!

Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

  2. Love Bones here, too. I try to go to bed early–9:30ish, but those are the night when Bruiser decided that he wants company at 11:00. After that I just don’t sleep so well.

  3. Last night is the only night that I have been in bed before midnight in a LONG time. I wish I could do it more. We’ve had a similar diet this week. I keep thinking I’ll eat the salad that’s in the fridge . . . or not! You have a great weekend, too!

  4. I’m not Catholic, but I’ve been feeling a bit like it with all these confessions. It does feel good for the soul. It’s nice to clear the air.

I’m often more interested in fictional relationships. People would call that “detached from reality”, but I call it “keeping my sanity”.

I often want to go to bed before 9:30, but rarely make it. I’m my happiest after 8 hours of sleep.

Great confessions! Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
