A little something for everyone

  • Though only six weeks into this pregnancy (crossed fingers AND toes), I have been extremely tired and have had some nausea. Been dominating the Ginger Ale, which works miraculously but also, packs on the calories like whoa.
  • Right before classes started, I was in talking to my boss about one of the new TAs who hasn’t treated us very well and right as I was saying, “Whatever; I don’t care about Blank Blank because she’s been rude.”, she walked into the office. I felt pretty bad about that but today, I got an handwritten thank you note from her about helping her with all the stuff with her classes, etc. I wonder now if she even heard me.
  • I’d like to eat a cheeseburger. Right now. (no matter what time you read this post, this one will still apply, trust me.)
  • I allowed myself a pumpkin spice latte this morning. It was SO good.
  • Speaking of pumpkins, the season is almost here; at least in my mind.  I joined some Flickr groups about Fall/pumpkins/leaves to get into the mood. I can already feel it creeping into my subconscious. When the wind blows cool in the evening and my finger gets a little itchy to snap pictures of, well, anything seasonal. I cannot wait for it to begin.
  • We’re tentatively planning a trip to Chicago in the winter. I am currently coveting this coat and these shoes for Elliot. Sadly, he may never wear them again. MAYBE the jacket in January and February but only if we’re out in the night or something.
  • Have not accomplished a whole lot at work so far this week.
  • Elliot’s birthday weekend still has been discombobulated. My house is still in disarray.

That’s my boring life at the moment. I have so much to do that my list would be longer than my arm. Time to stop blogging anf actually – *sigh* – work.

  1. Cute coat. You will need it, as well as 50 layers of long underwear. I went to Chi-town in January, and it was 17* below 0 when I got there. Misery.
