Thought I’d help you out, if you were thinking of ways to spend some of your Christmas money. You’re welcome.

Movie(s): Valkyrie. Even if you don’t like Tom Cruise, this movie is pretty darn intense and interesting. And if it means anything, I stayed awake for the entire thing and I normally fall asleep during any movie that starts later than 9 PM.

Seven Pounds: It’s a tear jerker that is based on this mysteriously unfolding plot that is pretty rugged. It’s more intense than Valkyrie, but in a different way. Definitely worth your money.

Music: Here are some of my recent downloads that I rediscovered.

In the Still of the Night – White Snake. Coverdale’s voice is extraordinary and this song is a hard hitting yet sexy ballad.

Kashmir – Led Zeppelin – One of the best riffs in all of rock. This song is raw yet haunting. An essential download for any classic rock fan.

Heart to Heart – Kenny Loggins – Upbeat and fun, this song just rocks.

Books:

Wolverine Origin: Read it before you see the movie. The artists, in my opinion, aren’t the ones I prefer for Wolvie but it’ll do. Good story. Covers a lot of ground.

In a Sunburned Country – Bill Bryson – I’m not done with this one yet but it’s good so far. I don’t know a whole lot about Australia so it’s very interesting to me. That’s the fun thing about Bryson’s book: you have a good laugh and learn a ton along the way.
