  1. They are sooooooooooooo scary lookin!
But the root beer makes up for it… actually I think they have good shakes. What would you do if someone gave you a Sonic gift card?

  2. Ha ha, cry. I used to eat there when I ate fast food, then i had it once last summer and felt sick. If it was only for like, ten bucks, I’d cheat now and then and get cherry limeade and rootbeer floats. 🙂

  3. I thought the sausage looked delicious. And yay for the Onion’s novel dedication–for Faulkner and Hemingway who paved the way. . . ha!

  4. Sausages have always freaked me out for some reason. There is so much that could be said about that…but … well…. yeah that’s a conversation for another time.

  5. R.I.P. Eastern Airlines ride from the ’80s in Tomorrow Land (not so “tomorrow” I guess). Also, El Rio Del Tiempo, the ride of Mexico in Epcot, officialy was closed and renovated for some retarded (read: gay, not mentally slow) “Tres Caballeros” Donald Duck bullcrap that is so totally irrelvant.

Remember this is the ride with ’70s key-party couples in Cancun going scuba diviing and the lady at the end in the “Mexican market” (mercado?) trying to sell you goods? So sad it’s all over. So sad my childhood’s all over.

  6. yeah, I just found out that they changed the Mexico ride. My mom and sister went on May 3rd and failed to tell me that until, like, 3 days ago. I loved the Mexico ride because in the summer, it was the coolest, most relaxing refuge.

I guess Disney has to keep changing to keep up with new generations but I think some things could be timeless. (E.G. Horizons)

  7. Don’t get me started on Horizons. I loved the choose-your-own-adventure part at the end. I always went back and forth between earth and space as my favorite ending. And remember when you got to the orange grove of the future, and everything smelled like Fruit LoopsTM? Mmmmmm.

  8. Ha ha! That’s awesome; it always did smell like fruit loops and we mentioned it probably every time. None of the videos I have found for Horizons show the whole ride, which makes me sad. I guess at least we have our memories.
