SO. I got into my office, did a crapload of work in one hour’s time, then went to the doctor. I indeed have a sinus infection. Yum. My new dcotor is kind of cute though so that’s a bonus. I got back just in time to trek across campus to put signage on a cancelled class. And now, I am waiting for my Honda salesman to fax me a quote to take to the loan people on my lunch. Forward strides today, oh yes. They don’t have my color or model on the lot and won’t for a good month but he says they can transfer one within a week. A week! It could be like, next Tuesday that I’ll be the proud owner of a new car! Yes, this calls for much celebration!

In other news, I have conferences with students as soon as I return from lunch. Also, it is definitely a Fall day in Tallahassee: overcast – totally gray – and cool. Kind of windy. Spattering of rain. The kind of day to lay on the couch in flannel PJs and sip tea. Alas, I’m busy as all get-out. But being here does not seem so bad after the last week of feeling like complete crap (I only kinda feel like crap today) and just generally not working a lot.
