October 5 – Day of Mass Resistance
On October 5, people everywhere will walk out of school, take off work, and come to the downtowns & townsquares and set out from there, going through the streets and calling on many more to join us – making a powerful statement: “NO! THIS REGIME DOES NOT REPRESENT US! AND WE WILL DRIVE IT OUT!” (the Bush regime, that is)

I find this pretty amusing. I doubt I would ever attend but it is funny that people will do this. Although I may oppose a “regime” I am pretty positive that dancing around with pants aflame and singing old Beatles songs will not oust the Bush administration.
It won’t get rid of Duya, yes, but I look at it more like organized primal scream therapy. No more habeas corpus -I’m scared, are you?
I saw this group standing protest when I passed the Capitol on my drive home from work. Looks like they had a good turnout.
