Friday 5 and Faves

It was an interesting week; felt stressful at times but went quickly also. We did a lot and have much, much more to do this weekend. Here are just a few of the best things from the week.

FAVORITES:

We went to trivia at Ology last night and before that, in the group chat where our friend asked who all planned to attend, our one friend said he could not but if we needed a tie breaker answer, he gave us the poundage of the largest pumpkin ever grown (2,748, I believe). See, if multiple teams tie, our trivia guy typically asks a stat based tie-breaker. We all chuckled until we did tie and it was actually that question! So yes, we won and Brian did a dance.

We drank this beer on Wednesday and man was it good! It’s from a brewery from Vero Beach that we’ve been to before because my cousin lives there. It’s in an old airplane hangar!

We managed to get all the kids together at the pumpkin patch. I cannot for the life of me remember why Isaac wasn’t there last year, and the year before, we basically had to strong-arm Elliot into going But no, this year we had a great time!

FRIDAY 5:

  1. I’m furiously trying to finish up some grading because we want to head out around 8 to do our 40 mile ride. It’s going to be warm today so we definitely should not waste any time.
  2. OK so I didn’t get this posted before we left but we did it: almost 41 miles actually. I was pretty tired of riding by the time we finished but I was glad we made it work today, since the weekend is busy.
  3. Once we got home, we showered and had Mexican food so I was very happy.
  4. I also got an email saying my son’s tournament schedule had changed – again – but this time for the better: 11 and 3:30 tomorrow. Much better.
  5. OK, time to get some grading done before we head out for a beer then this festival thingy. Will report back on Monday!

    1. The family pictures at the pumpkin patch are great! Good job getting everyone there. Glad you got your bike ride in and I hope that soccer is going well this weekend :).
