I got into the office early this morning so here are my answers; holla!

{1} What is your feel better remedy when you are sick?
I drink a literal ton of water and take Vitamin C pills like they’re going out of style. I also do lemon honey tea in the evenings when my throat is feeling its worst.
{2} When illness strikes, what is your policy on staying home from work, school or church with yourself and the family?
I tend to only stay home if it’s gotten to the point where I can’t focus anymore and my mind keeps wandering to thoughts of my bed. For the kids, if they don’t have a very high fever, they’re going to school!

{3} What do you think is worse? Flu or cold?
Flu, definitely. I always get severe chills and that whole-body ache that makes me want to take a bath all freakin’ day long. I HATE having chills!
{4} Flu shots? Do you get them? Have you yet?
I don’t tend to because whenever I did, I got sick. I have to have the swine flu vacc when I was pregnant and man, that was bad. The whole next day I was pretty sick AND in my late second trimester.
{5} When are are feeling down, what is your usual, go-to therapy? (retail therapy, exercise, comfort food, etc).
I tend to do the comfort food thing but also, camp out on the couch with a blanket and my pillow and one of three movies: Groundhog Day, The American President, or Nightmare Before Christmas.
Tea on a sore throat is the only thing that works!
Groundhog Day is the first movie Nick and I saw together on our first date. Love that movie!
Yep totally love to campout on the couch. But when Roy’s home I go to the bedroom so I don’t have to listen to him channel surf.
tea, totally!! i feel the same about the flu shot, makes me sick, i would rather risk it.
that kitty is freaking adorable..and i am not a cat person.
thanks for linking up!!
ditto on the tea! and i LOVE that pic of the pup on the ice…darling! wish i could do that when i had a fever. and i’m the same way with the flu shot, so i just take my chances every year and go without it. so far so good!
