And again, I’m going to link up with these fine ladies for their tell us anything you want linky party. Woot woot!
I feel like perhaps that I cannot *really* say anything I want because if I told you all the stuff in my head, I’d be bound to offend SOMEbody. So instead, let’s talk about what I’m currently obsessing over.
– Homemade biscuit sandwiches. I buy the frozen biscuits and cook them in the AM (20 minutes or less!) and then, with about ten minutes left before I have to pile the kids in the car, I whip up some turkey sausage patties and scrambled eggs. A quarter slice of cheese (been using muenster) and you’re set with a hearty breakfast. I wrap up one for me and one for Ell in tinfoil. Alwways have enough egg left over for Isaac’s breakfast and once everyone gets to their respective destinations for the day, we enjoy.
– Peaches. They’re so good this time of year. I have been cutting them up and putting them in the kids’ lunches. After a meal, we’ll all sit on the floor and share one. As the Presidents of the United States of America once said, “Movin’ to the country, gonna eat me a lot of peaches.”
– Gatorade. I know, silly. I used to drink it all the time but now, with all this training, I’ve gotten back into it. Doesn’t hurt that Publix frequently does buy one get one free on the big sizes.
– People who are blogging about Fall. Anytime I stumble upon someone’s Autumn recollections, I bookmark. Le sigh. Tomorrow is the official first day!
– Decks. Been looking at a lot of photos and trying to get inspiration to cozy mine up so it’ll be nice as this cool weather sets in.
So, do tell: what kinds of things are on your mind lately??
That breakfast sandwich picture is making me drool. I’ve been deprived of all things “yummy” for a month now, and I’m mostly okay with it…until I see a picture like that! Actually, not deprived…I’ve been giving myself little treats here and there…to save me from going insane. And an upcoming treat is definitely going to be one of those…
“Millions of peaches, peaches for me…millions of peaches, peaches for free!” Ahh that brings back memories from middle school! 🙂
That sandwich looks amazing! I have never aquired a taste for Gatorade, even in my high school years when I played sports. My hubs loves it, we have buy one get one at our local supermarket.
I can’t do gatorade–too much sodium. I like breakfast sandwiches but not with eggs. Not a big fan of eggs here.
I love fall–and the trees here are on the verge of changing–mostly to yellows but they are starting the change.
So unfair! You cannot tell us you have good stuff to share and then not share? Remember, what the button says, go ahead we’re friends!
You gotta love Publix’s bogo’s!
I don’t care for peaches, it’s the fuzzy skin thing, but I do love its cousin the nectarine! So delicious!
Thanks for linking up!
Oh, I totally just wrote a rant about football. I’m sure I offended about half my readers. lol!
Those biscuit sandwiches look soooooo good. I need some for my tummy now. lol!
That breakfast sandwich does look so yummy. My kids love biscuit sandwiches.
I used to love that song by the Presidents of the United States, they rocked!
Ok, seriously those biscuits look delish. You know what fruit I can’t seem to get enough of? Kiwi. I never had it growing up. We just ate the basic fruits but when I started feeding Emma fruits, I wanted her to try them ALL! I ended up really liking Kiwi.
I can’t believe tomorrow starts fall. It’s bitter sweet for me.
Thank you so much for linking up! You’re such a faithful linker! =)
I make a ham egg and cheese samitch on toast that is soooooo good. Easy to eat on the run. And I love peaches. I didn’t have any this year from our trees becuz of the drought.
I like Gatorade or Powerade, when it’s on sale. Kind of expensive otherwise. Autumn is my fave time of year. I never have liked the taste of peaches. Those biscuits sound like a delicious breakfast.
I have to agree with all those. We have a nice big deck and it’s my favorite part of the house. Sometimes I just sit out there and read.
I’m so excited for fall. I begged Match to let me decorate for Halloween already, ha. I guess I’ll wait til next weekend, lame! Wow those homemade biscuit breakfast sandwiches look incredible. I may have just drooled a little.
Great now I want one of your breakfast sammys. I guess I could make my own, but I just don’t think it would be a good. LOL.
We’ve been eating A LOT of nectarines around here. Mmmmmm.
Gatorade. LOVE IT!
Fall… Can’t wait for eggnog to come to Starbucks 🙂
I want a deck. I’ve got a patio… just not as appealing to go relax on. sigh.
You’ve got a cute blog!!!
