On first glance, a couple of these are hard, but here goes!
{1} You have been asked to give a 10 minute speech to teenage girls. What is it about?
Um, is there any way to answer this that doesn’t sound, well, preachy? I would probably say something to the effect of not making decisions based on boys or girls you think you need to be like. Also, it gets better, I don’t care if you’re a loser or the popular chick, you probably have emotional baggage. It comes with the territory but it’ll even out.
{2} Do you have a pet? Tell us about them. No pets? Why?
We have three Boston terriers, Iggy, Zoey and Todd. Todd was our first and we wanted to get another to balance him out, except Iggy was the runt and so pathetic, we ended up with three. And to be honest, it’s too many. Once we had kids, I found it very hard to put in the same level of love. I still care for them, sure, but our relationship has changed.
{3} What is the biggest inconvenience about the place you’re currently living?
The city? I don’t know; nothing really. I mean, I could answer the college kids on the road because they dive like total crap but that’s not all that inconvenient. Honestly, we have it pretty good here.
{4} What do you think is the single best decision you have made in your life so far?
Oh, easy: to marry my husband. I should say “get my master’s degree” or “have kids” but none of that would have been possible without his support.
{5} What are the THREE “nevers” of your life? (things you would never do or have never done)
This is a tricky one because my “nevers” might not be the same as others’ and they may be offended. So be nice!. 1.) I have never and will never have a one night stand. 2.) Have and never will do any hard drugs (i.e. heroin). 3.) Sky dive. I know that’s lame but it’s not for me!

I have a feeling skydive is going to be a popular “I’d never” answer….
That is a good subject for the speech. Some time back on a blog the question was “who were you in school?” and I was floored by the number of women that was down on themselves still to this day for something that happened or didn’t happen in high school. High school does not define a person. But bad choices can certainly haunt a person for ever!

Oh I get you on the college kid drivers–they are terrible here. The first snow storm every year and it’s accident every where.
I like staying in perfectly good air planes myself. If it’s not so good, I’d jump with a parachute.
