{1}Everyone seems to have a quirky family situation– what is something unique about your family dynamic?
Hmm… hard to say. I’m thinking it’s our Thanksgiving/Christmas arrangement. Since we live in Tallahassee, my parents live in Orlando, my FIL in Arizona and my BIL in Chicago, we have to organize each of those two holidays to switch off in some fashion. If my parents come here for Thanksgiving, then we typically go there for Christmas. Unless we’re slated to see one of Ash’s family members so we go there or they come here. It was more even before we had kids but I foresee us traveling more as the kids get older.
{2}What is the most stressful aspect to blogging (aside from the network going down)?
It’s petty but getting into a linky early on. LOL. I found that if I wait to blog too long and then link up much later, not as many people come by. But overall, I’d say it’s making sure I comment on other peoples’ blogs so that they’ll swing by mine. The give and take.
{3}We all end up on a blog at some point in our day, but name your top 3 favorite websites you flock to daily (non blog)!
I’m sure most people will say Facebook, that’s a given. My other two are tumblr and twitter.
{4}What’s your sign? Believe in it or not, does any part ring true to you?
I’m an Aries and yes, a lot of the aspects of the sign are me. From Astrology.com:
“They can summon up the inner strength required to take on most anyone, and they’ll probably win. Aries do not lack energy or vitality, and they can stay in the game longer than most anyone else. Now that’s a winning edge. Rams are also, for the most part, independent and well aware of their own interests in a given situation. This sometimes myopic view may not be for everyone, but it does help Aries get things going”
{5}IceCream!! ICECREAM!! We all scream for icecream! Name your favorite flavor/brand!
I really like just plain Edy’s chocolate, honestly. Though their coffee related flavors also rock. And they come in these little cups that are just enough and not too many calories!
Janette also has 2 BONUS QUESTIONS if you dare..
A. Name the blog you credit for linking up with us today: Mamarazzi! Dandelion Wishes.
B. Suggest a question you want to see in future WWTK’s: Name your biggest guilty Pleasure, one you’re almost afraid to admit to us. 😉

What a crazy holiday schedule you have. I’m so blessed {there are a few that this comment odes not apply to!} that all of our family lives within 15 minutes of one another. We moved right after we were married and as soon as we had put first everyone moved to join us. LIke I said it’s good for almost everyone!
I agree with getting on a linky early, the longer you wait the less traffic you see .
I love different flavored ice cream with crazy stuff thrown in but there is something to be said about a bowl full of just good ol’ chocolate or vanilla ice cream!
Thanks for linking up!
I love those little Edie’s cups, I haven’t ever gotten them but they’re so cute!
I feel the same way about getting into link ups early, I totally agree with you that the later you are the less people come by. I try my hardest to hit up everyone, at least on Fridays.
I’ll have to look into Tumblr, I feel like it’s something I could probably waste a lot of time on at work, haha
Yes! It’s great for those lulls at work.
I don’t enter weekday linkys as often for this very reason – unless the link is up early enough that I can write a post before I go to work, by the time I come home, I’m pretty low in the list. I actually deliberately read and comment from the bottom up on blog hops, and often write my post, link it, and come back in the evening to catch the blog “stragglers”. Although it’s interesting…I’ve noticed I get the least traffic when I’m in the middle of the list. So there must be others who read from the bottom up as well, so the middle gets passed over?
I noticed that right off about linking up. So I was thrilled to find out that Impulsive would email me the questions ahead of time and I could type it up and schedule it to post at the usual time and all I had to do was link up in the am!
That’s an interesting suggestion for a question. I’m almost afraid the hosts will take you up on it!
I think I know only one (!) Aries person and yes she doesn’t seem to lack vitality, that’s for sure.
So happy to have you link up and you can Thank Mamarazzi for making sure our link party is up by midnight California time, 2am Central… I’d be happy to send ya questions early if you want.. just let me know! Growing up we had the same family issues of having to travel to see my dad’s family and my mom’s.. thankfully everyone is now in the same area.. so now the only issue is: “Who’s house is it going to be at?”
Soooo true about the linky comment thing. Why do we stress about that so much? I mean seriously, there are starving people in this world and I stress about comments. 😉
That is a good bonus question. I feel that I am gonna stress telling about it tho. *snort*
Nick and I made the statement that once we have kids–the grandparents can come to us for the holidays. Right now it’s easy we all live in the same town, but once the boys are both in school one set plans on retiring and moving someplace with a lower altitude and easier climate. Then holidays will get a bit more complicated.
I have a list of people that I send the questions to a little bit early but I don’t have an email for you. I think when you leave a comment, it’s a “no-reply comment” therefore no address pops up so just shoot me your email address and I’ll add you to it. I usually send them out on Monday or Tuesday morning.
Some other people that use twitter have tumbler. I need to look into that. I don’t have it.
I’m a goat. I would much rather like to be a ram. That sounds way better!
Thanks for linking up!
Lol I’m the same way about linking up. It does seem that if I wait until later in the day to write my post and link up that I get less visitors! Thanks for stopping by!
Traveling is fun, but it I bet it can get really stressful during holiday times!
& I love coffee flavored ice cream, actually I just love coffee in general haha ☺
Loved reading your answers!
I feel like I am always traveling to see everyone too at the holidays! Living in Germany it gets insane. Last summer- while the hubby was deployed- me and the two kiddos went on 13 seperate airplanes in three weeks. Tennessee to see sister, NC to see inlaws and Ca to see my parents!
That’s definitely true about linking up early.
I’m the only one who lives out of state from my family, so we trade of Christmases. I really wish we lived closer.
I’m definitely with you on #2 – I’ve noticed that if I don’t get in soon, my traffic is lower, too.
I’ve noticed there are a lot of AIres and Virgos on these. Wonder what’s up with that. My sis is an Aires.
Mmmm…coffee ice cream. Damn. I’m reading too many of these posts because now I want ice cream. NOW!
