OK so I revamped the icon and took Julie’s advice in changing the name. She’s right in that there are already a lot of Wednesday memes. But the only Thursday one I know is Thursday 13, which could go along well with this.
In fact, my recycled post for today is this one that details tiny things that bring me immense joy. On its heels I have another listy list of 13 great things/moments to fulfill Thursday 13. You ready? I’m ready.
- When my friend texts me on Thursday mornings with, “Happy Bonesday!” because, of course, Bones is on tonight and we’re total junkies.
- When my barista asks how my kids are. We talked about them once and now he always asks. It’s nice to see some early 20-something kid care about that stuff.
- The way Elliot doesn’t care to hug me goodbye if his best friend is at school already. They sit next to each other, eating their breakfast and giggling. (This one is bittersweet.)
- Getting a new high score in Bejeweled.
- When I wake up and the dishes have magically been washed. I know it’s was hubs and after I went to bed.
- Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with a glass of milk.
- Crossing things off the to-do list.
- Getting the first parking spot in the aisle when you weren’t even looking for it.
- When the parking attendant isn’t in the garage to collect your fee.
- The first firefly spotted way out in the backyard in late June.
- A memory being triggered by a smell. Sometimes I smell this clay-like scent and I remember kindergarten.
- When all my devices are charged up (phone, ipod, etc.)
- Comments on my blog.

I love it when a scent triggers a memory too. One day I found a scent that triggered good memories and just sat there and smelled it for like 45 minutes, letting the memories flow.
I would so be a Bones fan if I had tv or could afford the seasons on DVD *grumbles disgruntledly*
Ooh, it’s Bonesday on Thursday in New Zealand too. There is nothing more satisfying than crossing things off the to-do list. I like doing that!

I know what you mean about a scent triggering a memory. The house I live in was my grandparent’s house and sometimes – out of the blue I’ll smell something and it will take me right back to my childhood. I love it when that happens!!
I’m with ya on a lot of them, but #10 for certain!
