Yes, it’s Spring Break on campus here and as always, staff members have to work! At least it’s quiet and I can get way ahead on my blogging. Because, you know, that’s important. 😉
- Can I start out by saying that I couldn’t stop laughing for, like, five minutes after I read this: FIVE. My eyes were watering and everything.
- Over the weekend I had a complete and total breakdown over money, so I did as promised and sold some of my comic books on ebay. Le sigh. I hate to do that.
- That said, I read about five tutorials about how to put a Paypal donation button on a blog and none of them have worked. Blah.
- Not that there’s any reason people should randomly donate money to me. Unless they think I am awesome. I’m sure SOMEone thinks I am awesome…somewhere in the world…
- ::Clap clap:: No more talk of money. It’s SPRING! Oh wait, what? It’s forty five and windy? What kind of Spring Break weather is that??
- Has anyone ever figured out why a raven is like a writing desk?
- I’m usually good at riddles.
- Has anyone tried the cabbage method of drying up their milk supply? It doesn’t seem to be working for me…
- My carpal tunnel surgery week has arrived. I go in on Thursday but I guess I won’t know my time until the day before. I don’t like the way that works. I wish I could plan ahead more but no, that’s not how outpatient surgery works, apparently.
- I had better be able to use my hand a couple days after; what about the internet? What will it do without me??
- When I was having my breakdown about money Saturday night, I had the strangest craving for chocolate milk. My mother must have given it to me as a child when I was distressed or something and I associate it with comfort.
I wish I had more random for you but my brain has turned to mush in the absence of a busy workday (damn you Spring Break!) so all I can do now is post Marcos, whom I know nothing about other than he is big, beefy and pierced. OMG, /isdead.

Nachos and Salsa = your chocolate milk comfort. My mom used to fix that for me when I was studying for a hard test. Every now and then when I’m feeling particularly stressed I start craving them.

Geez, money woes, I’m sorry. Hope it gets better. I’m doing just fine with drying up milk supply by going on 2 week Asia trip, problem is I don’t want to – booo. The first time around, it just worked to not feed/pump for longer and longer periods of time. Good luck.

Good luck with your surgery. Apparently that’s the way outpatient surgery works, but only at your clinic. My outpatient surgery time was scheduled 2 months in advance. Sorry, didn’t mean to rub that in.
I know what the internet will do without you-go through withdrawals. The whole thing might shut down and throw the world into absolute chaos because of it! You could usher in Armageddon! And the Zombie Apocalypse!

I also died laughing over that particular damnyouautocorrect. In fact, when I first found that website, I had to drink extra water, I was crying so much from laughing that hard. I thought it was a fluke and I was just particularly hysterical that day; but no, every time I go back there’s at least one that has me in tears. The Megalosaurs in particular, slayed me.
Also I think your paypal issue might be that you’re on wordpress.com rather than org? I’m not a WP person myself but I remember reading something about limited html if you’re not self-hosted.

Auto correct gets me every time too! Which is why I have disabled it, but now I second guess myself every time I’m not sure of how a word spells, so I enable it again… It’s a vicious cycle! 😀
Here’s the easiest way to get a Donate button for your blog:
1. Log into Paypal
2. Go to Merchant Services and click on Create Payment Buttons on the left side, just under Website Payments
3. Choose “Donations” as an option, and customize it to your liking and click create a button.
You should have an html code to put on your site after that.
I have had my donate button for 2 years and only 2 people have donated, one gave me $10 for my birthday and one thought it would be funny to give me a $1.. 😛 So good luck! 😀
