Getting to Knooooow Yooouu…

Via Java

I skipped last week since I was at the doctor and recovering from running and well, all around lazy! Back on track this week though.

1.  Did you get any Valentine’s Gifts?

Not yet. 🙂 Ash says he didn’t buy me anything – and he very well may not – but I also don’t expect much. I would be happy with a really heartfelt card.

2.  What is your favorite topping on something toasted?

Oh geez, tough question. If you’re talking bread for breakfast, then I’m a glutton for butter AND grape jelly. But my mom makes this french bread toasted in the oven with olive oil, feta and tomatoes. It’s not quite like bruschetta. It kind of looks like the below:

3.  Do you pick out your outfit the night before?

Not typically. Sometimes if I can’t sleep (which is rare) I’ll think about what i want to wear. Morning temperature usually dictates my outfit. My morning are so crazy AND scheduled (a dichotomy, I know) that I probably should do this though.

4.  What food item do you absolutely despise?

Since I’m typically an omnivore, this is tough. Also, i go through phases where I won’t want something. Lately, it’s chili. Actually,I haven’t wanted chili in about two years. But my old stand-bys for the hated food question are lima beans and oysters. Not together of course! I’ve always hated limas for the way they pop and hiss when you bite them and only I recently ate raw oysters and OMG. Why would you want to eat a food that looks – and tastes – like snot??

5.  Righty or lefty?

Boring ol’ right handed. I find it amusing that I am because both my parents are left handed and my sister is ambidextrous.

Why don’t you head on over to Java’s place and get to know everyone?

  1. I’m in total agreement with you on the oysters but I put liver as mine…YUCK! We have oyster roasts all the time down here but I don’t eat them. I always say they look like something you cough up not swallow! LOL

  2. Huh, I always heard that oysters tasted like women (ifyouknowwhatimean), which I found intriguing, but being a vegetarian, I’ve never wanted to taste them. Also, I hate all seafood and always have, so there’s slim chance I’d like them.

  3. Love the (s)hand castle 😀

Totally with you on the oysters – I’d love to be inside the head of the first person that decided to put that nasty stuff in their mouth!! Any Mountain Oysters….Really!!! Why would you eat that! There better have been some starvation situation going on!!!
