I’m doing all these daily meme things. It’s fun and gives me a prompt on days like today when all I can think about is my impending interview!

1. What do you see your life like in 10 years?
In ten years, my children will be about 13 and 10 and I foresee a lot of going to various games and sporting events and fun. I hope we have a newer house by then but mostly, I bet we’ll be happy.

2. What do you like most about your job?
I really love working in the English department. Some of the bonuses are talking to all the TAs about their classes and teaching but also working with students and helping them. I really like helping people though I never thought I did.

3. What are three things you do every day, no matter what day it is?
I always check email and Facebook, make sure to tell my family I love them, and put on deodorant. 🙂 Like that last one? Ha ha.

4. What would you do with an extra five hours in the day today?
Hmm, I would probably use it to clean my house. I have been doing a little here and there but it’s still just a mess.

5. What is your favorite Christmas (or whichever holiday  you celebrate) cookie recipe (please share!)?
I’m not big on making cookies, honestly, but I like plain old chocolate chip. What makes them special, whoever, is the bit of vegetable oil I add in which makes them slightly more cake-like.
