Brain too fried for more coherency than this.
- I want to buy some fishing line so I can better display my receievd cards. Have I done it? No.
- I have stuffed envelopes and printed mailing labels for about 3/4 of my cards. They will probably go out in the mail tomorrow.
- Regardless of what most people say, I think fruitcake is quite yummy. It’s sort of dense but the tangy fruit gobs mixed with the winter spice flavors really do it for me.
- There are no presents under our tree. I haven’t wrapped the one thing (so far) that I have gotten for Ash. There are, however, a few things in stocking.
- I am not lusting after any gifts in particular this year. Sure, if someone bought me a Slanket, I’d be pretty happy. If someone got me, say, some book store gift cards, that’d make my day. But there’s nothing I Must Have.
- I bought Elliot a tiny armchair because now that he’s people, he’s got to have a mini place to sit. I think it’ll be better than climbing up onto the step stool and – inevitably – tumbling off now and then.
- I’m leaving now to pick up my dogs from the vet where they were stabbed with little injections of illness preventatives and then I will acquire the Boy. Let’s hope and pray he isn’t whiny, snotty and snively this afternoon like yesterday.
We got Hunter a chair last year for Christmas. Best thing we have ever given him. Seriously, he uses it everyday.
Sweet. I hope Elliot likes his, then.
I am so stopping by Wal-Mart for some fruit cake on my way to work. And maybe some egg nog to wash it down . . .
The only thing I want for Christmas is a Kindle. But that’s not gonna happen unless I buy it for myself with the money that I don’t have.
Yeah, I’m alright with that . . .
