…if you accidentally leave your travel mug with about 2 swigs of coffee (with milk) in your office for a good three to four weeks, when you finally crack that thing open, it is going to smell like the foulest stench ever. It will have formed into little hunks of brown spongy stuff that reeks of a thousand rotting carcasses. Do not – I repeat – do not make this fatal office mistake!!

I did this once. I had just gotten a new mug and had picked up a capp on my way to school. When I got home, I had a few swigs left, so I took the mug out and set in on a shelf in my garage . . . and promptly forgot about it.
A few days later, I saw it and decided to clean it up. You know what dry heaves are? Yep. It was all I could do . . .
So into the trash it went.
Ugh!
Agreed! I pitched that one and will be buying a new mug soon.
I’ll take your advice and never make this fatal office mistake because:
1. I don’t have an office and
2. I don’t drink coffee.
