I slept in a whole 10 minutes today and it actually made a big difference: I feel alive and awake and… cold. My office is always cold! I had some minor morning sickness today and I really hope I am one of the majority of women who has this subside once they hit second trimester. I’m wondering though about logistics: I am 13 weeks, 3 days. On Sunday, when I hit 14 weeks, does that catapult me into second trimester or will it be at the end of that 14th week, which will mark 15? I hate numbers.

On a random note, I was looking at my parents’ itinerary (they’ve been in Honolulu since Friday) and they somehow managed to swing first class on their return flight. And that was with frequent flyer miles!! Imagine that my father has sent Ashleigh and I to London and back and Hawaii and back and still gone out there himself. That’s a lot of miles racked up. He did work in New York for two years in which he flew home EVERY weekend.

It’s hump day and although Tuesday always seems so long and early in the workweek, once Wednesday rolls around, it feels like time is actually passing.

I bought Casino Royale last evening and started watching around 9:45 or so. But something was wrong. I got it on Blu-ray and placed it in the PS3 (the worst gaming console OF ALL TIME) and the sound was all staticky, like a record player. Sometimes it was ok if it was an action sequence but if it was just two characters talking or some background music, it was awful. Ash suspected it was a system update that needed to be done and while he did it, an hour into the movie, I fell asleep. He says he thinks it fixed it but we’ll see tonight when I finish watching. Mmmm… Daniel Craig yumminess.

Well, I know I haven’t said anything much of interest that would warrant comments but for the # of hits I’m getting per day, I’d certainly like to see some interaction. Come on people, speak up! (Yer like my freshmen, ferchrissake!) 🙂
