Picspam time!

Ok ok, so I’m only going to show you two pictures but I think it will be fun. Besides, I’ve been here an hour and it feels like about fifteen minutes. This is indeed a good sign. The morning has gotten off to a pretty good start, even though the clouds are rolling in and I foresee rain. Although, if the rain is blowing westernly, then I can keep the window open and enjoy the storm. It’s pretty surreal with the lights off and the wind blowing. Some days it’s all that I have to keep myself sane.

Yesterday was one of my busiest days, in terms of not being home very much. I worked from 7:30 to 4:45, when I drove over to the Strozier library for my students to get edumacated about data bases. The guy ran over time so I had to rush all the way over to Tom Brown park to catch Ash’s 6:30 flag foot ball game… which they won! First win this season. They actually played well and shut down the other team’s offense. Good job, Brute Force.

After the game, Ash and I went to the gym for an hour. By that time, I was beat. Especially since all I had for food the whole day was a bowl of oatmeal and a sandwich.
There shall be more football photos forthcoming when Lyle uploads what I took on his cam. To see the other four from last night, please visit My photo album.

And to finish off this post, here’s one of little Iggy, doing his best “frog legs” or as my parents call it: “the slerm”. This here’s a full slerm but Iggy is famous for the half slerm.

That’s all for now.

How is everyone else’s Tuesday going?

  1. Ahhh!! That is a picture-worth pose. I cracks me up when dogs sprawl like that. Our younger beagle used to do it when he was a puppy. Now, not so much.

  2. Your puppydog is cute.

Yeah, my Tuesday is going so far, so good, since it’s really only getting started for me. Since my day never starts until 3 PM, I’ve gotten into the poor habit of sleeping until 9 am. Today, I slept until about 10 since I stayed up late last night working.

  3. I want your dog(s)!! I always love the pics you share. I think the half/slerm is a Boston thing; mine have always done it, especially after they’ve been running around for awhile and just plop down and smile with their tongues hanging out.
