Good morning one and all

I kind of like when I have to work and Ash doesn’t. The alarm clock is on his side so when it goes off, at 6:30, he turns it off and rolls over. He nudges me slightly and always says something like, “Baby, time to get up. I love you.” And then he immediately falls back to sleep. It’s a nice way to start the day.

I was very awake as I was getting dressed, driving to school, and as I came into my office. Not five minutes later, I suddenly fell into a state of dizziness, things were hazey and I almost had to put my head down I felt so sleepy. With a few shakes of the head and a quick jaunt over to the campus Circle K for coffee, I felt undeniably better. Also, I am eating a Publix fruit cup. It’s just pineapple, mandarin oranges, and strawberries. It’s awesome. Hello breakfast!

It is cooler here this morning. There’s a breeze and a slight chill to the air. It won’t last but for now, it’s very pleasant. I wish I could be outside enjoying it. A walk or a bike ride would be great right now.

I actually have some work I should be doing but I must pace myself. No need to rush and have a whole day of nothing. So for now, it’s back to checking sites and finding diversions.

  1. We have an interesting Fall here; some trees will turn and drop leaves (one in my yard is already trying to – he’s all yellow) and then some stay green all through winter. But at least by January to March it gets into the 20’s in the morning and not much past 55-60 during the day. It’s great.

  2. Yes, there’s a good season change there as well. I know it really well in Western New York and Pennsylvania from travels as a child. The multi-colored hills in October are not to be missed!
