Wednesday ‘Podge – It’s April already, isn’t it?

1. Egg on your face, putting all your eggs in one basket, a good egg, walk on eggshells, nest egg, or a tough egg to crack…which eggy idiom currently applies to your life in some way? Explain

Putting all eggs in one basket. I have been relying too much on these two other online jobs and taking a break from another. I am not as spread out now and that worries me. I have to deal with it.

2.April 7th is National Beer Day…are you a beer drinker? If so do you have a favorite? Beer battered fish, beer bread, beer can chicken, beer brats…which one sounds good to you? Have you made any of these?

If you have read my blog AT ALL you know that beer is a big part of our lives, as we are brewers. It’s a craft, a hobby, but also something I do enjoy drinking. I cannot name one brand that is a fave but a style: I enjoy light lagers so, pilsners, kolches, helleses, etc. Beer brats are my preferred from that list but I’d eat them all.

3.Do you have siblings? What’s the best thing about being your sibling? If you don’t have siblings, what would you say are the pros and cons of being an only child?

I have one sister and the best thing, I suppose, is that we do agree on many little inconsequential things like loving breakfast foods and gothic aesthetics. We don’t have the closest relationship though.

4.How do you feel about floral scents in products? Do you have a favorite?

NO THANKS.

5.What’s one thing in your home that begins with the letter G that you would say is a keeper, something you’ll hold on to? Tell us why.

I am sure this doesn’t mean much to many of you but the first thing that came to mind is Golden Tee. We don’t actually PLAY that golf game but we use the control panel to play Silver Strike bowling. But it’s something Ash and I love playing together while we listen to music. I am putting a picture below because it kind of looks like that, though ours is wider, like a regular console. We have it on top of a cabinet we got at Goodwill and then the screen is just a TV in the living room. (second photo is the best I had)

6. Insert your own random thought here.

Busy busy this week! All my classes started a new unit so there is a lot of upfront and background info to be relayed, as well as small activities for context. I took an allergy pill last night because tree pollen is super high right now but I then woke this morning all discombobulated and groggy. Ugh. I cannot seem to catch up today so in the interest of finishing this post, I’m posting now and will be back later!

  1. I had to get off Zyrtec. It was giving me crazy dreams, plus I was waking up feeling drugged, which I guess technically I was. I hate to say it for fear of jinxing things, but the pollen here has not been quite as horrendous this year. There’s still more to fall but usually by this time I am staying indoors to survive and that has not been the case. Hope all goes smoothly with your new units!
