I knew it was coming but oh, the cold! 42 this morning but 27 tomorrow! The weekend was pretty hot though, sadly. I left work on Friday afternoon very ready to go. I met Ash at the park where we walked across to Amicus and had only one beer apiece and we picked up a 4 pack. Headed home and made some dinner for the kids, played a little bowling, then we watched K-Pop Demon Hunters. That movie has no business being as good as it is! I had zero interest but it was not bad at all.

Saturday I knew was going to be busy. Took Isaac up to work then went to the store and we got started on pulling almost everything out of our attic so the AC guys could begin, well, today. It was a lot of light boxes, since we collect beer cans. But it was the up and down the stairs that got to our old middle-aged bodies. LOL. Luckily once Isaac got home he helped with the Xmas boxes that were heavier. Once all that was done and I’d made tacos, we could relax. Might have been about 2-3 pm or so and at that point, we decided to watch that new Netflix Frankenstein, which was actually pretty good, I’d say. We enjoyed it, anyway. Called it a bit of an early night, since we had runs in the morning to do.

I woke Sunday around 6 and I think we both got out to run around 7:30. I had planned to run 3 but ended up doing 2.25 because Dakota came with and while she only wanted to do 1, we met in the middle. It was not a great run for me but I survived. Decided to make chicken, mashed potatoes, and green beans for lunch but I was in kind of a bad mood, for whatever reason. I don’t know; sometimes it’s like that. We watched football, Dakota had a friend over, Elliot’s girlfriend came over later and I made food for them as well, then we took a walk around 7:30/8 or so. Ash was in a mood too, seemingly, so once we got back, I retired to the bedroom to do some reading, which was a much needed bit of relaxation.

It’s weird having a day of school today, then off tomorrow, then back to it. I can feel the lack of desire to be here in all my students, and I suppose myself as well. Luckily the time is passing relatively quickly. Two of my classes took quizzes, so that passed the time well. It is later in the day now and I am just now realizing I get another day off and how nice that will be!
